Skincare Favorites of September

The four skincare products have been my absolute favorite for the month of September. Let me start by introducing these products the first in St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub, Purity one-step facial cleanser, Up&Up acne wash oil free, and Mario Badescu facial spray.

First I'd like to say that I do not use all the products together on a daily basis. I like to use the Purity cleanser and the apricot scrub together since the scrub does not foam up I like to use the cleanser as well to get a better clean face effect, I use this combo every other day. The other days I use the Up&Up acne wash which is the Target brand and says it is comparable to the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub. I do enjoy this scrub because it does have the exfoliating beads and foams up. Whether it is comparable to the Neutrogena one is a little iffy it works just as well since I did have the Neutrogena one it does not smell as strong as it either and it is a bit more liquidy. The one item I do use every day is the Mario Badescu facial spray I use it as a toner every day and I absolutely love it. The mist is fine when sprayed does not smell so strong of roses it works really well for my skin.

I am very pleased with my skincare routine so far. I hope you enjoyed this post and I can't wait to post some more.

BareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer Review

Hey everyone! Today I am bringing you a review of the bareMinerals foundation primer. This foundation primer is very affordable coming in at $23.00 for 1 fl oz. You can purchase it at an Ulta or a Sephora. I personally enjoyed this foundation primer very much. It had a nice clear smooth consistency. It made my foundation go on easier, smoother, adn cleaner. Prime Time made my foundation last throughout an 8 hour shift and through my oily skin. In my opinion my mineral foundation worked the best with this primer but it works just as good with liquid foundation.  A great pro about this primer is that it is very affordable compared to other high end foundations. I would definitely repurchase this primer and recommend it to makeup lovers out  there.

bareMinerals prime time foundation primer goes on clear.

Recent Makeup Haul

So I recently accumulated a little makeup haul that I wanted to share with every one.Just a couple of items that I picked up at Ulta and at Target. A couple of BB creams, a new foundation, some primers, nail polishes, and lip products.

I picked up The Amazing Spiderman nail polish set bu OPI because some of the colors did catch my eye and  I thought that this was a lovely way to try out the colors. I was also in search of a new primer because I have felt that my Benefit POREfessional is not really doing much for me so I picked up a foundation primer by Bare Escentuals to test it out and I also picked up a the Tarte clean slate which has sample face primers and an eye primer.

For the lips I picked out a Revlon Just Bitten Kissable lip stain in the color Smitten. I also picked up a Stila lip glaze trio in the fiesta set. I have never tried a Stila lip glaze so I am very excited to try them out and do a mini review on them.

For the face I picked up Revlon's new Colorstay whipped foundation in the color 160 rich ginger. There were two new drugstore BB creams that I wanted to try which were the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream in the shade Medium/Deep and the L'oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB cream in the shade Deep.
Hopefully I will be able to get these reviews out as soon as possible so stay tune. Sorry that the pictures are not great quality I took the with my phone. I'll have better picture for you next time promise!

June MyGlam!

So a couple of days ago I received my June MyGlam bag and by far i must admit it was the best one so far besides the December bag. This month's theme was Out All Night and I received 4 items along with my clutch. Although the clutch smelled a little fishy I do appreciate that MyGlam decided to do a different bag besides the regular zip bag. The items i received where:

-Living Proof frizz nourishing styling cream which I am excited to try because sometimes my hair does like to frizz up on me
-Marbella permanent eyeliner pen. I have been into liquid eyeliner this month so I'm glad I have another to add to my collection
-NYX Lip Smacking Fun Colors in the color iced honey which is a color that I normally wouldn't get but I'm glad I am able to try something out of my comfort zone
-Philosophy oil-free energizing oxygen gel cream moisturizer is the item I am most excited to use because having oily skin I am always in the hunt for a new moisturizer that does not make my skin even more oily

Overall I was very happy with this month's bag and I really hope MyGlam continues with a good job.

This week's free samples!

This week I received three samples in the mail from TRESemme, Purex, and Biore. I learned about these free samples while I was on the website makeuptalk.com and I signed up to receive them. The TRESemme sample was for their new split remedy products and I received a sample of the Split Remedy shampoo and conditioner along with a dollar off coupon to try out something else. The Purex sample was for their new and improved detergent Triple Action and along with it I received a fifty cent off coupon. And the last free sample I was the most excited about was the Biore sample which included a cleanser, face, scrub nose strip, and a dollar off coupon. Getting free samples is a great way to try out new products and get coupons so my suggestion is to keep an eye out for them by going on products pages like Facebook and also visiting one of my fave websites makeuptalk.com because many lovely users posts free samples they find.

Happy free sample findings :)!
